Welcome to Walk In Family Dentistry on Finch Avenue West in North York. This page has what you need before your visit. Walk in without an appointment or book a time that works for you, and we also keep Saturday hours. Our front desk is glad to help with anything this page does not cover.

Many people cannot get to a dentist during the work week, so we stay open on Saturdays, 9 am to 3 pm. You can walk in without an appointment or call ahead to hold a time, and our North York team can see you for a routine checkup or an urgent problem on the same visit. When a tooth starts to bother you late on a Friday, a Saturday spot means you will not have to wait until Monday.
Opening hours
We accept most major dental insurance plans, so there is a good chance yours is covered at our North York office. Bring your insurance details and our front desk will confirm what your plan includes before treatment starts.
We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB), and the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). We handle claims for most student and university plans as well.
We bill your insurance directly, so you pay only your portion at the end of the visit rather than the full amount up front. Our fees follow the current ODA fee guide, and our front desk will go over the full cost with you before treatment starts. For larger work we offer payment plans that spread the balance into smaller amounts over time, and we accept cash, debit, and major credit cards.
New patients get a complimentary 30-minute teeth whitening session with every complete new-patient exam, which includes full X-rays and a professional cleaning. It is our way of making quality dental care easier to afford for the whole family.
Professional whitening is safe for most people. During your exam, your dentist will check whether it is right for you before any whitening begins, so you know exactly what to expect.
