Dr. Vida Siar Dentist
Dr. Vida Siar (Farokh-Siar)
Dr. Vida was born and raised in Iran, where she completed her Dental education as a dentist in Melli University (The highest ranking among all well-known Iranian dental schools) in 1998.
Since then she has been practicing multidisciplinary dentistry in both public and private sectors.
She immigrated to Canada in 2011, and passed all NDEB equivalency exams in Canada shortly after.
She started her career as a dentist/ dental surgeon in Ontario in 2013.
Since then she has been serving as a Canadian dentist, focusing on cosmetic dentistry, mouth rehabilitation, implants, orthodontics, as well as minor surgical procedures.
Her patients know her as the “Light Handed Doctor “.
She has gone through continued education in laser dentistry, implants, wisdom teeth surgeries, orthodontics, and many other courses here in Canada as well as internationally.
Other than a dentist, she is a proud mother of a son. When she is not with the patients, you can find her doing yoga, meditation, reading, learning Spanish, chatting with friends, or eating chocolate (her guilty pleasure).
Dr Mahvareh Akhgar-Araghi
Dr Mahvareh Akhgar-Araghi completed her three-year Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Program at Melli University, Iran, in 2003, obtaining the first rank in National Specialty Board Examination. Since then, she has been practicing Dentistry and providing comprehensive specialty dental care for her patients from infancy through adolescence. She also taught dental students as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry for four years.
Her passion to work for children with special needs led Dr Mahvareh to further her education in the field of “Hospital Dentistry”, and she completed a six-month Certificate Course in “Sedation and pain management” at world-famous Eastman Dental Hospital, London, UK in 2006.
After moving to Toronto in 2013, Dr Mahvareh successfully completed NDEB Equivalency Process and National Board Examination and obtained her license to practice general dentistry in Ontario. Dr Mahvareh is a member of Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and British Dental Association (BDA).
In her spare time, Dr Mahvareh enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoor activities and reading books.
