Dental Coverage for Niagara University Students

Your plan depends on whether you’re an international or domestic student, and each one works a little differently. Here’s how coverage breaks down and what we handle for you.

International Students: Morcare Plan

As an international student, Morcare is your health plan. You’re enrolled automatically at the start of your policy period, and dental is included as part of that mandatory coverage. Bring your Morcare details to your visit and we’ll submit your claim electronically, no paperwork and no reimbursement.

Domestic Students: We Speak Student Plan

Domestic students already have OHIP for medical care, so dental comes through We Speak Student as optional supplementary coverage. It isn’t automatic; you choose to enroll during your plan’s enrollment window, and once you’re on it, your dental benefits are active.

We Bill Your Student Plan Directly

For covered services, we submit your claim electronically to your student plan (Morcare or We Speak Student). We don’t ask you to pay first and claim it back later. Little or no upfront cost for treatment your plan covers.

No Coverage? You May Still Qualify (CDCP)

If you’re a Canadian resident with no private or student dental plan, you may be eligible for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). We accept CDCP patients. Not sure whether you qualify? Ask us; we’ll help you check before you book.

Root canal therapy to clear the infection, end the pain, and save your natural tooth.

Coverage: Coverage varies depending on your student plan.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom teeth often start crowding or aching in your twenties. We assess your wisdom tooth and remove it if it’s impacted or causing problems.

Coverage: Partially covered under your student plan.
